"We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). "This house was perfect for two families to stay in for the week. The garden is enormous so plenty of room for kids to run off their energy. The house itself was comfortable and clean. The location is relatively remote being accessed down single track lanes, which meant it was very peaceful, but still only 10 minutes from a shop. We were still generally within 30 minutes of the places we wanted to visit. The Indian takeaway in Poringland was excellent too!"
