Come relax in this secluded getaway on the shore of amazing Lake Michigan. The property boasts 100 feet of waterfront, which provides a calming backdrop to your activities. Watch the sun rise from the porch while you have your coffee, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves. The living room provides a gorgeous view out over the lake. Although the house feels tucked away in nature, it is close to everything! Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay and Fish Creek are just a 20-minute drive from the house. It’s even convenient to get to Lambeau Field to see the Packers only an hour away. Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park are just minutes away, as well as local businesses offering lots of outdoor activities in the area. The location offers simple access to the many restaurants, theaters, and festivals that Door County has to offer.
The house has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and dining area, and a large deck. In the summer, use the outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the lake. A grill is available during warm weather for the perfect cookout, followed by a bonfire in the outdoor fire pit. There is free high-speed internet and smart TV, self check-in, and free parking. Coffee and tea are provided for all guests. This house is a perfect spot no matter your itinerary: stay home in the cozy cottage, or use it as your home base as you travel and sightsee throughout the area.
In the winter the area has excellent hiking and snowshoeing.

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was wonderful. We were able to kayak right from our own little beach, just down the stairs. The landscapes you see from the water are lovely. The great room is nicely and uniquely decorated and comfortable. The steep stairs to the kitchen were OK for us but might be challenging for some.

If you want a beautiful location with peace and solitude, check this place out! I have stayed here previously, and both times have been lovely. Very private and quiet. Just a heads up, the stairs to the beach are not sturdy…be super careful!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful spot on Lake Michigan. We spent one day in the water and then the evening by the fire. It was such a peaceful location. The location is perfect for exploring Door County. The communication was awesome. I highly recommend!

We definitely recommend this cabin! The cabin is spacious, has lots of windows, heating system works greatly, has good wifi, and the lake view is amazing! Also the location is perfect, very close to many sightseeings such as the Cave Point. Lastly, Eric replied to our messages promptly, and was very kind to offer to return some belongings we forgot. We would for sure rent it again!

This home was a perfect rental on the East side of the Door Co Peninsula. More cozy than the pictures and better views as well! It is very close to Cave Point and not far from the other natural wonders in the area. Jackson Port itself is a very charming town. The house itself is very well-appointed and clean. The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We hope to return one day soon!

We all enjoyed our stay so much! It’s pretty hard to beat listening to the waves and enjoying the sounds of nature. We didn’t want to the leave the house we were so relaxed! Close proximity to all the towns and hosts gave great hiking recommendations! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Not for the elderly or people who cannot handle steep stairs and the pillows were lacking but overall great experience!! Thank you for a great stay.
