"Sambor Prei Kuk, as one of the latest UNESCO World Heritage sites, definitely needs to be finally put on Cambodia's tourist circuit (so far, it gets only a handful of visitors), and Dracaena Resort is hands down the place where to stay - it's in fact the only place in reasonable distance from the temple ruins, but it's also quite certainly the best accomodation anywhere between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. "I’ve stayed here a couple of times. The rooms are good, typical Cambodian style spaces. I like that. Be sure to get a low floor room as the roof has a nightclub that gets pretty loud. The restaurant has good food and particularly good coffee. Very reasonable prices too. Yeah, brkfst doesn’t come with the room, but the price of the meal is totally cheap for the quality food. The hotel is just about one block to the east of the big central roundabout. Really close to the river too."
