"Nice stay"

"Just excellent."

"Staff was friendly, full kitchen including washer/dryer, clean and comfortable. Ideally located. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Lovely property in a lovely village - central to visit lots of interesting places."

"It exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the house was well equipped. The hosts were friendly and very helpful."

"Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous. The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries. Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels. Will visit again"

"Clean, well maintained. A small welcome pack there - milk, coffee etc, small fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Will stay again"

"Great place to stay, very large garden great for the dogs… thank you very much…"

"Anne, out host, had thought of just about everything and a bit more. The annex is compact with a friendly feel to it and all equipment is excellent quality. Anne’s efforts to welcome us with necessities went beyond expectations and our stay was without hitches of any kind. Brilliant!"

"Really nice property had everything we needed with pub shop cafe 2 minutes away "

"The host has clearly invested a lot of money into the property, and the cottage is very cosy, tastefully decorated, and conveniently located. However, we were advised by the host that, as long as my parents were able to use stairs, they shouldn’t have any issues. In hindsight, I would recommend being particularly careful if staying with young children, older people, or anyone with balance or mobility issues. The stairs are narrow and steep, with a twist at the bottom as you enter the living...

"It was a cute little bolt hole. We are however tall & it’s very low ceilings and doors so had to duck everywhere. Reasonably well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Some cobwebs between beams & in windows which we used a duster to move those above the bed. The bushes by the main entrance could also do with a trim as encroach on the door way when passing through. Some teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk was a nice touch as well as the a little freezer with the fridge. Easy to park in little car...

"This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !"

"The privacy and cleanliness of the pods, second time returning and I will be coming back for a third."

"We, a group of 16 adults spanning 4 generations, returned to Morton House for its welcome, quality, comfort & locality. Excellent time had by all!"

"Immaculate and cosy home. Quiet village, friendly pub, ideal jumping-off point for exploring the area."

"Well equipped cabin, everything was there for our stay, hot tub wasn’t working correctly lovely , and having the decking was fabulous knowing our dog was secure , staff very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend. And would love to return for another visit ."
