It's funny how almost anywhere you turn in Slovenia there is emerald-colored water in some shape or form; if it is not the ocean it's a splashing waterfall, a serene lake or a wild river. "Overall a great stay. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are clean and the location is walkable. It’s about 5-10 mins to the main tourist area. They even have complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, which was a nice touch. "

"We received instruction on how to get into the apartment. The bath towels were minimal. we never had any contact by the host other than email. Maybe it’s the European way, but I thought that was very odd. I called because the TV was not working and I felt as if I was interrupting the host. The accommodations were fine. Overall, if ever in Triest again, we would certainly contact Ghiberti again. The price was very reasonable."
