"Superb location! It doesn't get any better than this. Despite being family friendly and having lots of couples with children staying there, hotel is wonderfully quiet. Combine that with top notch mattresses, comfortable pillows and high quality linen, you'll have the best night sleep. We left the car at the hotel parking the day we came and didn't need it until we checked out. Hotel is only couple of minutes walk from shopping centre, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. This is not my first time staying at Novotel Canberra and it certainly won't be the last. "

"Great property. Large room. Well appointed and clean. Canberra light rail station directly opposite which is convenient. Perhaps it's a little too far to walk to Civic, but it would be manageable if time permits. Secure undercover parking is offered for fifteen per night, which is pretty reasonable for Canberra I think? Only negative was breakfast shuts at 0930 and check-out is at 1000. Both seem a little early? Also the breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages) were all quite cold. But all in all, it's a pretty good newer property for Canberra."
