"The cottage was great for 2 people with easy access to the sights. Just two notes: 1) The stairs to the bedroom are steep, so be aware of that if you have any mobility issues. 2) The unit smells strongly of cigarettes, for those who may be sensitive."

"Our 3rd year running now at this property and it never fails to satisfy. The location, the open plan nature of the house, the faclities provided are all perfect for us. We love the kitchen with its range cooker and large dining table in front of the stunning views, relaxing in the living room and watching the world go by in front of the log burner in the evenings. Walks form the property are lovely, but most days we're happy just in the local area, getting the kids off the beach is almost...

"House was great for family holiday with lots of space and spectacular views. Good location for visiting Skye and surrounding areas. Kids loved the table tennis. Well equipped in some aspects but kitchen could have done with a bit of a deep clean."

"The Cottar is a cute, quirky and relaxing place to stay. The view is out of this world and the area is very quiet. There is a Co op and petrol station only 8 minutes away. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and a package of Scottish Fudge. Eoin our host was lovely and we were able to meet him during our stay. We had some troubles with app communication, but email worked very well."

"Its just exactly as advertised. Four on-suite double bedrooms and another room that comfortably has a double bed. Spectacular views over the Loch, seen an otter one morning going about its business just by the shore next to the house. House very well equipped and clean, great showers and a bath in the downstairs double room. So much to see and do around the area, property is in a woodland with walks marked out. Just cant recomend this holiday home enouhg. "

"We had a lovely stay in Kyle at this Vrbo. Good place to be to get to the Isle of Skye. Host was very pleasant. We walked all over town and to the bridge. We only stayed 2 nights. Next time I’d like to stay at least 3."
