"A great place as a base to visit Herefordshire. The food in the pub was all freshly cooked to order and there was a good selection of beers and wines. The staff were excellent particularly the bar manager (Cam), he was totally aware of customer needs throughout the pub. The Arkwright room was a good size, well equipped and clean however, the stairs to the raised bed area could be a problem for some people and the bathroom is downstairs. Overall, for us, it was exactly what we were looking for and the rates were very reasonable. The continental breakfast self served in the communal breakfast room was enough to set us up for the day. I would stay there again."

"Yes we both enjoyed our stay at Somerville house..we stayed at the rear of the property with excellent views of the garden & beyond the town. The room was very good..bed very comfy & a great breakfast the next day .. The house also came with its own history of days gone by !!! Would definately go back there some time . "The location was absolutely stunning! The photos online are fab but they honestly don't do the cottage justice! Myself and my husband came to stay for 1 night for a relaxing time away from our young children and my goodness we were relaxed! The location was clean, quiet and the perfect spot for us who like to walk. We walked to the beacon of Malvern Hills and navigating to the top from the cottage was easy! Such a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend to anyone. "

"Great welcome. Manager/owner he was at the entrance to welcome us in as we got out the car and offered to carry bags which was lovely. Asked if we needed breakfast but we didnt as heading off early. Quirky rooms but all well decorated and tea/coffee, ironing board. Had air con and fan as a top floor hot room so good was there already. Only a one night stop over but would definitely recommend/ return in the future."
