"We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort! The location right on Waikiki Beach is unbeatable, and the grounds are sprawling and beautiful. With five different pools, incredible dining options right on-site, easy access to the saltwater lagoon, and the famous Friday night fireworks, there is always plenty to do. Just a heads-up for future guests regarding amenities: Expedia lists a steam room and sauna, but the resort does not actually have a steam room or sauna available. Overall, it is a wonderful place for a trip to Oahu, and we would definitely return!"

"We went in the middle of a storm and everything was still well maintained didn’t get to use too much of the amenities. It was a bit hot, but they were no electric and the corridors. But overall, it was a very good experience will go again."

"We missed a day because of the hurricane so the staff got us into an ocean view room. The bed was amazing and the pool is perfect. Maui Brewing connected was a perfect addition. Could walk across the street to the pool. Definitely will be back!"

"The property is about is a walking is about 8 mins walk to the International Market Place. The property was not affected with the power outage when typhoon LaLa hits unlike the more known big hotels by the beach. The price is fair and you get to save more because the room has a microwave, fridge, plates, spoons and forks, etc. The staff especially the front desk are on top of things. Bottom line ......worth it and will be booking it again."

"Royal Grove Waikiki was worth the price. Pros: - Great Staff - They even got us in a room before the normal check-in time. - Low Cost - One of the least at Waikiki beach area. - Close to Cruise port. - Short 2 minute walk to Kuhio/Waikiki beach. - The beds were fine and clean. The bathroom was good with clean towels for the bath/shower. - The pool was clean and refreshing from the wet heat of Hawaii. - Elevators saved lugging luggage upstairs. - Air conditioning worked great. - Our room included a refrigerator, stove, microwave with pots, plates and utensils. - Plenty of plugs for recharging laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc. Shock: Parking - $49/night and 4 blocks away. But at $49 it was actually a bargain as others charge $65/night. Street parking is difficult to find, and some parking places have meters. Worse is watching tow trucks haul away vehicles who tried to park in places that were not marked for parking. Cons: The hotel is old: chipped/peeling paint, crooked halls, possibly due to hotel expansion and occasional small bugs in the bathroom."
