Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End
10/10 Excellent
"Staff extremely accomodating. Friendly and supportive. Its location right next to a garage car park and many commuters. Lone traveller felt safe. The decor you can tell hotel taken over an old hotel but clean enough. Will stay again "
"Perfect quiet flat in the heart of the town with restaurants and shops just a few steps away. Unbeatable location near the train and start of the West Highland Way trail. Would highly recommend- 10/10! "
Stunning Large Garden Villa 7BR (Sleeps25) - nr Loch Lomond and Glasgow
10/10 Excellent
"Large group of us stayed here for a friend’s stag do and we all had a brilliant time. The villa was nice with plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable, the garden was massive and the hot tub was amazing. The location was also spot on with loads of places to eat and drink in the town centre. There was also the option of going into Glasgow as the train station was only a short walk from the villa. Chris and Frances were excellent hosts and were always around if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends"
2 bedroom accommodation in Campsie Fells nr Fintry
6/10 Okay
"Not the best start, not the hosts fault but the address given was the name of the general area, nothing at all to do with the property; not only that but the phone number to call was listed as the main cottages.com number, we were searching for the property when their offices were closed though...so completely useless. The post code took us to an empty property, the what 3 words took us to the same place, we ended up having to stop and knock on doors, after driving around for about 30 minutes. The road to the property was very rutted, causing my fully loaded car (loaded with my family and luggage - so to be expected) to ground out several times..ended up having to straddle the dipped sections; I would be very surprised if my car wasnt damaged from using the drive all week. When we drove up to the property the first time there were signs early on for holiday cottages but at the actual property no signs at all, the side of the property you drive past is not as per the photos so we drove right past it..up to a very steep gravel drive that was so steep we got stuck and had to turn around. We had a problem with the door lock but couldnt find the hosts, ended up fixing it ourselves after knocking on their door for 5 minutes.Had an issue with the tap on the shower not being completely central, making the pump turn on and off sparadically all night, kept me awake...this was not explained as a potential issue. Bathroom door was see through, very awkward with teenagers."
"I was staying to be close to the hospital while my husband had an operation. The hotel was clean well decorated and furnished. The security was excellent and for my first solo stay i felt very safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful"
