"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

The setting is quiet and tranquil, the kangaroos and variety of bird species allows you to get back in touch with nature. Just the sort of holiday we were looking for. "We loved our stay in Crafters West. Julie was terrific - always responsive and never intrusive. The cottage was private, extremely comfortable and with adorable touches that made it very enjoyable. We woke to the birds singing, and although we didn't see lots of fauna, the baaing of the local sheep was a delightful background to fabulous sunsets. Happily recommend this cottage.
