"The location is beautiful. Enough picnic benches to sit outside and enjoy gorgeous evenings. The main issue was thin walls. I could hear talking from both sides (left & right) of the room. Rooms with queen beds are a tight fit getting in from the door."

"Location is excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and bars as well as historical sites. Staff is always excellent, neatly dressed, well spoken and professional. The property is an architectural gem. The lobby, bar and general interior details like the interior woodwork, floors, elevators and mail chutes are remarkable. Best shower ever! Go to Knead Bread for breakfast. It would be a standout in any major city."

"Lovely spacious room, light and well-appointed. Comfortable king-sized bed. But couch and armchair were worn. Sleeper couch was unusable. The property is beautiful and historic but past its prime."

"Clean, upkeep was good, breakfast was very good. Ice machine on our floor wasn’t working but when to the next floor for ice. We loved the Shower."

Secluded River Cabin Getaway (Masten Cabin)

"This is an amazing rental. The description is spot on “secluded” truly describes the property perfectly. The house is so cute and has all the accommodations you could need. We arrived pretty late in the evening as we decided to get some hiking in before checking in to the property…. I would suggest arriving to the property while it is still light out especially if you are not familiar with the area and the steep terrain. Once we arrived we discovered that the cleaning person accidentally locked both the door locks so it seemed we were locked out but the owner promptly answered and provided the necessary information to let us right into the home. I would highly recommend staying in this property for the perfect rustic getaway. (Has all necessary linens, toiletries, cookware, and bear spray haha)"
