"This place worked out great for me, my husband, and grandparents. We were hiking Pulpit Rock and the bus company we'd booked picked up right in front of Scandic City so we only had a 2 min walk, which was perfect. It was also very close to lots of great restaurants and a short walk to the city center. "it was not bad! clean, spacious enough for me & my partner, toilet was sufficiently spaced out (not too small, not too big!) & the staff were friendly & helpful. I have nv stayed in a hotel that was conjoined with a hospital before, it was quite cute. The location was terrible tho, cos me & my partner had to drag our 23kg luggages 2km from the train station, walk up 3 different extremely high & steep slopes & thank God it was cold weather when we went (around 15°C) but by the time we were done lugging our baggage & navigating that 2km from the train station, huffing & puffing dragging the 23kg luggage up crazy sloped roads, we were perspiring like mad lol. Rooms don't come with hairdryers or kettles, but u can borrow 1 from the reception at the 1st floor if u rly need it One thing - I dropped my 1 side of my glove out the window & it was lying on some 2nd floor deck! I wanted to retrieve it cos I'm left with just one side of the glove which would render it useless. so what am I gonna do with ONE side of a glove?!! LOL, the lady at the reception desk told me she couldn't do anything abt it & that it was inaccessible. I don't think this is true because I'm sureee occasionally there're people who will go up there to maintain that deck & cleaners who go there to... idk, sweep & mop the floor there or something? It was completely safe to do so! Other than that, the inside of the hotel is rly perfect & good for budget travelers who want to stay in comfort. "
