"Outside of our rooms which were outside of the hotel needed a good lick of new paint. Inside great. An excellent shower however there was a bin in the toilet covered in rust spots which certainly looked absolutely disgusting. I spoke to reception and it was removed. Mattresses could be renewed and perhaps pillows and duvet also. Food and service excellent."

"My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. Staff are lovely, location has fabulous potential and is clean, open and very peaceful, great for if you have a busy lifestyle and want to escape. Didn't try the resteraunt as we had seen a few bad reviews but if you can drive, some lovely eating spots are near by."
