"Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."

"Our family group of eight adults, two children and two dogs enjoyed a weekend but the house is so well equipped we could easily have stayed longer. Plenty of space for everyone and very comfortable. The house manager Theresa could not have been more helpful. We’d like to return."

"Tigh Beag has wonderful hosts and is a cosy home from home. I appreciated the well-equipped property and especially the comfortable bed. I had everything I needed and more for my short stay visiting family nearby and I plan to return again next time. I'd highly recommend Tigh Beag for anyone visiting Troon who needs a great location as well as peace and quiet."

"We had an amazing time at the Secret Garden Cottage. It has a prime location, in between the beach and city centre. The apartment has all amenities you need (and some surprise toys for our two-year-old) and all of us found the beds very comfortable! Thanks again for hosting us Sue!"
