"This hotel is a wee cracker right in the heart of Derry. From check in, to the bar and breakfast service, the staff were all brilliant - welcoming, efficient and friendly - much like everyone we met in the city. The location is near lots of great bars and restaurants - all within walking distance. It does get quite lively on weekend nights - with live music and excellent craic on tap - but that's a good thing!"

"Very good hotel..room was spotless, but very warm they had a fan in the room which did help.. first night we couldn’t get parked in the hotel car park.. but managed to get a space the next morning which obviously made a difference regarding carrying your luggage. All in all a very good hotel and a great location. Definitely would go back."

"Overall a very positive experience. The only negative was the food at dinner on the first night when my wife found a large bone in her chicken fillet burger which put her right off her meal. We didn’t make a fuss at the time as the restaurant was full but did say to the waiter who said he had already brought it to the attention of the chef and he asked if we wanted to speak to the manager/supervisor but we declined at that point. I later spoke with the supervisor who apologised and agreed it was unacceptable and said it was a pity we hadn’t spoke to him earlier. Other than this blip we had no other issues and enjoyed our stay."

"Enjoyed a two night stay at the Ebrington. Upon arrival our bags were taken and whisked away to our room before we had even finished checking in. Staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking very convenient to the property which is a short walk across the Peace Bridge to the sites of Derry. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast as was the attached pub where we enjoyed a meal each evening. Room and bed were very comfortable."

Lusty Beg Island

"The rooms are good, beds comfortable and everthing you need except drinking water. The pool is really good clean and warm. The island is beautiful and walks are great except for the flies and midges. The play park is nice and tennis court is good as rackets and balls are provided. Food average not as good as other places I have stayed. I brought my car across on the ferry and then couldnt get off the island till 3.10pm after checking out at 10.30. Guests were supposed to be informed the day before that the ferry would not be running after 10.00am. I was not informed and we had to hang around till 3.10pm."
