My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this studio. The unit was spotless. The kitchenette, soaking tub, and fireplace were great amenities. The view of the mountain from the room is beautiful and you can watch the gondola come and go from the balcony. Great location and so much to do within Spruce Peak Village. We will definitely visit again.

My family of four and our dog had a great few days of skiing, eating, swimming. Everything was great and as described. Our only complaint about the stay is the cost of lift tickets and food is quite high but that is just a fact of the mountain not the host or rental and having the kitchen to cook a meal or two in helped. The gondola outside the unit was not a negative at all and the location of the unit was very convenient compared to other u its. If you are headed to Stowe, I definitely would recommend this as one of the best places to stay.

This room is essentially part of the hotel and provides a resort experience from the car valet service to concierge service. The year-round pool is a great amenity for all ages. Location to the ski mountain cannot be beat.

Stayed for a conference- very comfortable accommodations. Don’t let the gondola just outside the sliding door deter you from booking as we did not find it disruptive. Host was vey responsive and helpful when I discovered I left my iPad in the room. Would book here again.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights during peak foliage season. The resort and room were beautifully decorated and in a great location. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Valet service was a wonderful bonus.
The only downside was that the gondola was located right outside the balcony and it was noisy when it was running (only if you had the sliding door open). We were usually out hiking or exploring during those hours, so it wasn’t really a bother to us. If we had wanted to relax on the balcony it may have been a different story.

The owner has literally thought of everything here. Fabulous amenities and cleanliness. The bathtub was absolutely glorious after a long day of skiing. The vehicle valets were absolutely next level on service. The ski valet was a little less stellar, but it just seemed to be bad luck for me, personally. Every day, my husband’s skis were ready and waiting. Every day, mine were not, and I’d have to find someone to retrieve, even after my husband specifically asked them to get mine out. (He likes to open the slopes while I’m still booting up.) One morning it took about 15 minutes but I think they just got stuck in the wrong spot inside. If that’s the only hardship I have on a ski trip, we’re doing pretty great!
The skiing was fabulous, the place was fabulous, I slept better here than at home. This was, by far, my favorite east coast ski trip, and top 5 of my favorite anywhere. It might actually be my favorite overall ski trip, because we’ve always felt like we have significant trade offs of great skiing with terrible lodging or amazing lodging with terrible skiing. This was the whole package!

We had a great stay ! Unit is next to the over easy gondola and close to the elevator so amazing and quick access to everything! Loved the easy bellman service for luggage and our car, in addition to east check in/out. Ski valet was great too. We had been needing a family weekend away and it was all wonderful. Beautiful accommodations , and everything was very clean upon our arrival. Would definitely go back!

This was our first time to Stowe, and we really enjoyed it. Everything went very well with the room - check in, communication with the management company, check out. The location is almost perfect. The view is really nice. Being next to the gondola was minimally disruptive, just some sound in the morning but it’s not loud. Being in the Lodge and the Village was great!

Hotel and staff was amazing. Property management company, Stowe Mountain Concierge LLC, was a poor reflection of the brand: cleanliness well below standard with mounds of hair left in shower and beer boxes left on balcony from previous guest, communications were poor and lacking in empathy - defensive when reached out to for resolution, does not understand hospitality business - not a single apology for experience. Owners and Hyatt Corporation may want to reconsider contracts with businesses such as this that are not competent in delivering on expectations.

We love Stowe. We’ve been numerous times and have stayed at the Lodge at Spruce Peak numerous times. The lodge itself is, in my opinion, one of the finer staples of the Stowe experience. However, this time, we decided to book through VRBO and our experience was not the same. Connecting with the host- your actually talking to the concierge at the hotel. 4 times we were asked for the same information and the same waivers to be signed. They just couldn’t keep track of the conversation, the paperwork, or the booking. Seems to have been confusion with my wife’s maiden name…however this should have been fixed the first time; not the fourth time. We got up, checked in, and were informed we have to contact the concierge for any room concerns. Our safe in the room was broken- called to have it fixed- nobody ever showed up. Then day two, we find a very large bodily fluid stain on our comforter. Not pleased with this years experience in dealing with booking and the hotel. Will return to Stowe-might find other accommodations.
