After a 3 hr journey I waited for approx 10mins at 'Reception' (a computer at the bar!) just wanting to find out where the hotel car-park was while a staff member had a long, long, discussion on the phone about a booking and my friend had pulled in to a lay-by outside. Only 2 staff ..."

"Great location and lovely old building. The staff were excellent. Very welcoming and friendly, professional and efficient. The en suite could do with some basic modernising. The room was also too hot, so we had to open a window, which let the noise in from the high street."
