"The place was clean and tidy, and the owner was very kind. But until I arrived I had no idea that the room did not have its own bathroom.
Sandwick Bay was OK, but pretty limited.
However Stornoway is a very limited place. No restaurants as such, Even the chippies shut at 8.
Lewis has a lot going for it - north, west and south.
Stornoway is the obvious place to stay - but is not much fun."
"Hotel was cute and in a great location. Our only negative was that although our bed was large it was uncomfortable and could use an updating. Staff were very friendly! "
"Great location, smashing breakfast, very comfy bed, its all we were looking for. If you,re looking for somewhere thats just braw, then look no further, "
"The staff were delightful and very professional, breakfast was very good, hotel in a convenient location, other guests were well-behaved (sadly not always the case these days!)"

"The welcome by Linda was warm and personable and even though I arrived a bit early, my room was ready. I stayed in a single twin bed, it was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage, etc.
The bathroom was newly renovated and the tiles and fixtures are top quality--best shower in Scotland!
Well stocked coffee & tea station--specialty herbal teas and hot coco!
Breakfast was delicious with a multitude of options. If you want porridge order the night before.
It is a bit out of the center but very walkable. Great 3-day stay! Will definitely return!!!"
"We had a lovely stay here . It was very homely and roomy. The bed was comfortable and we even had our own bathroom!! We were supplied with some milk, bread, jam and biscuits which was a lovely touch too. A great stay! Highly recommend!!"

Park Suite 1 - up to four guests, adjacent to Park Suite 2
10/10 Excellent
"This lovely up/downstair suite was more than two older sisters needed, but acquired due to listing washer/dryer as an amenity. In fact, the in-suite washer/dryer combo was out for repair, but a nearby washroom was available for Park Suite 1 & 2 and worked wonderfully. Had I know that, I would have reserved Park Suite 2 which would have suited two persons better. The hosts had generously supplied us with some tasty kitchen treats which we enjoyed our entire week. All the rooms were clean with good hot water in the showers and kitchen. All in all a good home base for our time in Stornoway, withing walking distance from ferry, bus and downtown."
