cheap but not great

"The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Our friend in another room had tea making facilities (kettle, cups, etc) whereas our room had nothing. There was no room service done during the day while we were out. Room felt cold with no way to increase the temperature. Breakfast was underwhelming."

"Unfortunate “renovation” of lovely old building took all the charm and character and trashed it for artificial surfaces, ugly bland furnishings, and tiny cell-like rooms.
