"I was pleasantly suprise by the size and comfort of the rooms for the price, which although quite basic, were adequate for a short stay and great value. The staff were very welcoming and helped with our cases. It was a great location for walking to the shuttle bus. The downsides were the shared bathroom, steep stairs and no parking on site. "

"Room 3 is a loft room with many low square-edged exposed beams (below head height) including above the bed ,which on arrival was two singles made up as a double. I had booked a twin room . Of course nothing unusual about beams in a 400 year old inn ,indeed charming, but the risk of head injury made for an uncomfortable stay in this room.
