"A very friendly welcome but I was disappointed with a rather tired looking room at the back of the hotel. Having said that it was fine and comfortable enough. Large bathroom. The view at the front is lovely and it was nice to view that from the hotel garden. I had to leave before breakfast so I was provided with a nice packed lunch instead which was ready for me to collect. Very helpful. I think a few thousand pounds would be useful to spruce it up a bit! I think i paid way over the odds booking...

"The stay as a whole was very pleasant. The room, clean, the decor, very nice. My only 'gripe', is that the water pressure for the shower was terrible. I felt I had to run around in the shower to get wet. It was little more than a dribble and I felt I had to stand with my nose against the wall to get under the water. I took ages to have a wash!"

"Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river and the mountains. We had dinner at the property. Tasted good. Nice that they packed us a lunch instead of taking our breakfast that was included because we were leaving early. That was an unexpected nice touch."

"Perfect setting for a celebration weekend for all our family. We cooked our meals and sat around the super size dining table in amazing surroundings. We went for walks as we were lucky to have good weather in March. One of us went cold water swimming!! (Very brave) We played family games, had a pool tournament, celebrated St Patrick's day (we're Scottish, any excuse to celebrate) The Lodge is fully equipped we didn't want for anything We would highly recommend Stronachlachar Lodge and hopefully...

"Beautiful place, hosts are just lovely, so accommodating and friendly. Hot tub and pool are very relaxing with the best of views from the hot tub. Only downside is the road up but it's worth it"
