My husband and I stayed at this hotel 17-19 May and were greatly impressed by the hotel and in particular the staff and service they provided at this property. From the moment we were checked in by Erica and checked out by Nimisha the service was flawless. Every staff member was immaculately groomed and excellent ambassadors for the hotel. Truly excellent hotel with fantastic service. Food was best I have had in a hotel for years. Room was small but very well appointed and spotless. This is probably one of the best hotels to stay in Oxford. Well located, just a short walk to the city center.

The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook.
She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...
