"When we arrived at breakfast, there really wasn’t a selection of anything healthy. No hot food at all. We were told by another guest that there was no hot food on Monday and Tuesday. Would have thought that would’ve been mentioned by hotel staff. The rooms were clean and our interaction with staff was pleasant. However, we skipped breakfast both days we stayed here and ate at a restaurant down the road. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this spot while visiting our son for Plebe Parents Weekend at USNA. Had plenty of space to relax and unwind and communication was great throughout. One thing that wasn't as clear until arrival was that this is a guest house above garage next to main house where owner resides - therefore the pool/hot tub/outdoor space isn't private but shared. Wasn't a big deal to us but could to know beforehand. Really enjoyed the peaceful setting and was great to have the pool to cool off in with hot August humidity."

"The grounds of the property are beautiful and well maintained, and the pool was enjoyable. However, prospective guests should be aware that the pool is not entirely private, as members of the owner’s family used it on most days during our stay.The host was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating, but unfortunately the house itself did not meet our expectations. The biggest issue was accessibility. The stairs leading to the bedrooms were extremely steep, winding, dark, and felt unsafe, especially since there was inadequate lighting. There were also multiple levels throughout the home with uneven steps, making it difficult to move around safely. I ended up sleeping on a sofa because I was uncomfortable using the stairs to access the bedrooms.The kitchen was modern and updated and became the main gathering space for our group. Unfortunately, it was also the only area where the air conditioning was not functioning properly, which made it uncomfortable during warmer periods. The kitchen was also only minimally equipped.Other drawbacks included limited Wi-Fi coverage, which was only reliable in one room, and the fact that there was only a single television located in the living room.Overall, while the host was excellent and the outdoor grounds were lovely, the layout, accessibility challenges, and lack of amenities made the house itself disappointing for our stay."

"I basically bought groceries for this trip! I loved that it supplied beach towels and we didn’t have to tote our own! The house was equity for all visitors: a room on the first floor to accommodate someone that can’t do stairs and a hideaway floor for all the kids. It’s was the best set up for us!! Not to mention the fun stuff to do on the property: crabbing, biking, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking!! A great family vacation!!"
