"The location near Pokagon State Park was very convenient. Our room was clean and the shower pressure was great. Breakfast was nice and everyone that worked at this hotel was super nice!"

Charming 2-bedroom cottage with lake and beach access and large yard.

Close to all we needed

"The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't want to wait. Would definitely recommend."

Great stay

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, soap, etc. to use. We loved that you can rent their pontoon boat without having to go somewhere else to rent one. We would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing time at the lake."

2025 Fourth of July

"We had a group of 20 adults and we all had the best time. Our group travels together to many VRBO locations and this house was probably the best one that we have stayed. Not only was the owner great but the house was very clean, fully stocked with anything you would need (which isn’t usually the case), check out was easy and the location was amazing. When I asked the group, the only complaint was that there is not a community full bath and the bathtub by the upstairs kitchen is so slick that we were falling. All of the showers are in the bedrooms, which is awesome if you have a bedroom. Though, for the people who were sleeping in the bunkbeds (which were solid wood and comfortable), we had to wait to get into someone’s bedroom to shower. Our group is great with sharing, so it wasn’t too bad. I would definitely stay here again and we are already plan another trip to this house. "
