"Close to the black sand beaches and very good breakfast "

"In a convenient area (near skogafoss waterfall and public pool) and staff were helpful. Instructions to the building could have been clearer. We received a code day of on the Expedia app that I am still unsure what it was even for. We ended up wandering around the property trying the code to the Lambafell Hotel and the pods."

"Got this on short term for one overnight, everything worked, good WiFi. Note that there is another guesthouse with similar name some hundred metres behind."

"Wonderful place in an excellent location for access to trails and town. Great layout, beautiful views, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a home away from home. "

"Good points. The host communicated well prior to our arrival .he met us promptly and was very pleasant and helpful .bed was comfortable enough. Bad points.the house was very dilapidated, in very bad condition externally which gives a bad first impression .lots of flies around. Room very stark, nothing cosy. Shared bathroom not in good state of repair, pedal bin in bathroom full to the brim with sanitary towels, clearly not emptied in quite a number of days. Very overpriced ."

"Built by the owner, this is a very well designed and constructed guest house. Beautiful room and en suite bath with lots of outlets for charging phones, cameras, etc. Kudos to Andreas for a job well done! Service and travel advice were great too!"

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "
