"First time at Summer’s Inn and I will definitely return! The room was great and has all you need for a long holiday weekend- small refrigerator, nice sitting area and a very comfortable bed. The daily breakfast was fantastic! Staff are friendly and we felt very welcome. It was like a step back in time to the 1960s."

"This wasn’t just a stay, it was an EXPERIENCE. We felt like guests in someone’s mansion (because we were!). The furnishings, the music, the decor, the history, the ambiance were all exquisite from the moment we walked in. And the breakfast… three courses in colors, tastes, and textures that were unique and so enjoyable. Chris and Jenna were such gracious and knowledgeable hosts. We hope to visit again!"

"The only good thing I could say about this place was that it is very well located. Now the bad, it is severly in need of updates. Like shut down as long as it takes and pour some serious capital into upgrades. The toilet had a leak around the base so they caulked it. That doesn't help, it just cause the water to pool under the toilet and seek a new path or promote mold. Our matress was not hotel grade. I could go on and on. All this for the exorbitant price of $190 a night! I have no idea how...

"We stopped at the hotel before check-in and spoke to co-owner to request a room on the bottom floor, as my husband had knee surgery 7 weeks prior, and there was not an elevator to the second level. She left a note at the front desk to accommodate my request when we checked in. We did not get a room on the bottom floor, the owner said there was nothing available and said there was no note left at the desk. Very disappointing!"

"Parking lot maintenance plus system issues requiring me to get new keys were unfortunate check in experiences. Room was a LONG walk from the front desk and front desk was a LONG walk from where i parked due to lot maintenance. Property did not provide any advance notice."

"This hotel is pet friendly which was our #1 consideration in booking. We found the hotel very clean inside and outside. The bed (double queen) was extremely comfortable...one of our best rests in a hotel experience! Plenty of hot water for showers! Outside hotel and parking areas were well lit. Hotel is behind Culvers...away from US10 traffic. The hotel is an older establishment...not alot of fancy amenities...but we were comfortable and felt safe. Thank You Rodeway Inn!"

"It was terrible. Expedia allowed us to book a room when the Hampton wasn't open. It was extremely inconvenient having to frantically look for another room for the night in the area."
