Located just a short walk to the Thunderhead chairlift and Right-O-Way run, you can skip the base area crowds and be among the first on the mountain each day. More advanced skiers can even ski out directly from the property.

Inside, relax in the inviting living area featuring a large Smart TV, cozy gas fireplace (seasonal), and access to a peaceful balcony. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area offer everything needed for home-cooked meals or après-ski gatherings. The large master suite on the lower level boasts a king bed, en suite bath, and a private entrance. A second sleeping area—behind a stylish barn door off the living room—features a twin-over-full bunk bed.

Hidden Gem

Great condo right off the slope… Enjoyed both the location and the amenities. It is up the road a bit from the base, so if you don’t have a car, you’re going to be relying on buses but for many that’s also a plus as it’s nice and quiet in the evening. Would definitely stay there again.

The Lodge

Sweet location with an easy walk to mid mountain Thunderhead lift. Allows you to get to the top of the mountain early and get 3-4 runs in before any crowds. Easy process for check in and out all around

Mother son ski trip

Location was great. Condo worked well, though it is tight in the bunk room. It was nice to have two bathrooms. We appreciated the hot tub and were thankful it got fixed.

Good little condo

Quiet condo, reasonably clean, comfortable. The frying pans stick terribly, if you’re planning on cooking there a lot you’ll want to plan accordingly. It’s a comfortable place to stay in Steamboat!

Pros -- great location, great space, quiet, lovely view of the hillside, really enjoyed the amenities (pool, sauna, hot tub) Cons -- everyone has a different threshold/criterion for cleanliness, but in my opinion, the property could benefit from having the carpet/upholstery deep cleaned Other -- should let future guests know to bring their pool towels since the property did not provide

Was a really nice place for four adults for the weekend. Roomier than expected. The still photos made it seem smaller, the 380 tour shows the property better. The stairs could be challenging to navigate due to being narrow and steep.

This is a great location within walking distance to the Thunderhead Express lift. Place was comfortable for four guests. Place could have been a little cleaner. Bath mats needed cleaned and we discovered a moldy half eaten apple between the bed and night stand.

Easy and convenient

We had a lovely stay. The condo is small but cozy and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The location is very convenient to the thuderhead lift which was great for skiing. We had issues with trying to utilize the free shuttle, as it was never available or went to the wrong location, however we understand that it was a busy festival weekend. Overall a great experience.

Lovely stay in Steamboat

Clean and comfortable condo. The master bedroom is huge and nice and cool in the lower level. The second bedroom is not a room but bunk beds behind a barn door off the main living area. Still worked fine.

Cozy condo convenient to Steamboat Resort. Very clean. The parking lot was a bit precarious and icy and we did find a smoke detector unplugged above the refrigerator. We did not use the free shuttle as we found it more convenient to use our own car for transportation. We overall enjoyed our stay!

Everything you need!

We came to Steamboat to ski for a few days and had a great time staying at this lodge! It’s just a .2 walk to the nearest ski lift. You’re not in walking distance to the base or town but if you know ahead of time to download the Retreatia complimentary shuttle app, you can reserve a ride to any place! They’re quick and efficient! The lodge itself has all the extra amenities you might need plus some games and other perks! I would highly recommend!

Great Steamboat getaway location, but communication could be improved

We loved our stay here, and the location was super convenient to get around downtown and the mountain! We were only disappointed with the miscommunication on the hot tub, where the code to get in was incorrect on the check in package, and we were not able to get any clarification, even when contacting the provided number they gave us in case of questions. Otherwise, we would recommend!

Pro: Great, clean property with pool and hot tub access. Clear communication from property on parking, rules etc. Felt welcomed via the welcome packet. Con: Room view was the side of the hill and I didn’t realize that the main bedroom was downstairs and not on the main level. Not a big deal! Still had a great time! Far away from town and summer mountain activities. Had to drive rather than walk to festivities.

Overall Excellence with One Caveat

Very well equipped condo and love the location, up high on the ski mtn. Nicely furnished, well - organized unit. Caveat is lack of handrail on spiral staircase with varying heights of steps - precarious. I'm sure I am not the first to take a tumble on it; just need to be very alert as you descend.
