"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. "Cabin was what was described. The TV was not working and WiFi was poor to say the least. The room was clean, but we did get quite a few mosquito bites at night—-but let’s be real, it’s a campground. "We enjoyed our stay. The camp site is good for families and the staff were friendly. The restaurant and bar were very good and good value for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entertainment/evening show is only aimed at children and is mainly in Italienne, it was learning songs and dance moves to the songs, which our 6 year old granddaughter was able to follow. "We really enjoyed staying at Camping River Village. It was a nice change of pace from the usual hotels during our 3 week tour of Italy. Our children loved the pool and playground. The cabin was clean but cramped. But it did the trick. Be aware you have to pay extra for sheets and towels! It was a convenient location to visit Cinque Terra. "

"Planned this trip with my two siblings and my sister in law and we are so happy we chose Massimo’s Villa! Massimo is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to accommodate us on a very late arrival time due to some airline delays.
