"My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect – the kind of stay that leaves you wanting to come back even before you've checked out! The Location: Absolutely unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches made a big difference. Honestly one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The Staff: Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, we were made to feel at home and very well looked after. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. The Breakfast: Delicious! A fantastic spread with something for everyone – fresh, hot, and generous. "Clean well equiped appartment. Enjoyed the swimming pool, table tennis and the bar that looked out onto the lake.Loved the seating area/garden to sit out in the evening. Site is in a brilliant location for cycling routes (cycled on the lancaster canel tow path and along an off traffic route all the way into morcombe). Friendly helpful staff ."
