But on Tues 7/1/25, I woke at 6:50am to drilling noises directly above my room. Clearly there was construction activity, which is totally understandable in an old building. "Check in was quick and easy. Parking was disconcerting in the beginning because you had to take a ticket. Turns out, when you exit, your room key lets you out without charge, because it's prepaid. Room was clean and comfortable. Employees were friendly. When you could find them. It appears the hotel is short staffed, although we stayed early in the summer season. We had an unfortunate incident with the toilet, and it took eight hours for someone to fix it. Sadly, after three attempts to get it...

"We went for a cheer competition and the stay was very convenient to the Tahoe Blue Event Center where the competition was at. It was so close that we were able to walk, which saved us from having to pay for parking. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. It was quite and peaceful. "
