"Enjoyed my stay at this motel in my home county. The night shift clerk is very friendly and caring he let me change my room on Friday night after working 2nd some people were being loud outside and apparently were from the area. "Place was exactly as described, with beautiful river access near stilesville. You can catch nice brown trout right out in front of the cabin! Please catch and release, and if new to fishing research proper fish handling practices. Smash your barbs. Only thing would be that when you cook, there is no fan above the stove- so the ventilation could be better. Recommend just using the grill outside when possible."

"Really great overall experience on my sleep stopover during a long trip. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed. The area had some basic amenities while also being surrounded by natural beauty. I was glad for driving the extra 25 minutes to avoid larger cities and chain hotels. "We had a great few days here in Pleasant Mount. We have a family of 15 with grandchildren ages 8-17. The house was very comfortable for all of us. The boys loved fishing in the pond and all of us had fun in the pool and playing pickleball when the rain stopped. The house was very well equipped and clean. We ate many meals at home. Most days were very rainy and cloudy but we had fun inside with plenty of room for us to play games and cards. The host Jennifer was very available to contact with questions and got back to us very quickly. We chose this home because one family had a son playing in a tournament in Cooperstown and this property was only about an hour and forty five minutes from Cooperstown so they were able to head off from Pleasant Mount to Cooperstown. "

"My wife and I booked this property to host not only our wedding, but also to bring together many of our far-flung friends and family for some fellowship time together. This location has all of the perfect amenities, great for big groups to spend time together and opportunities for smaller groups to do their own activities. The decor and style of the houses on site were beautiful and really fit what we were looking for. The patio behind Eagle Manor was a great place for our ceremony and the Clubhouse accommodated our reception so well! We highly recommend this property!"
