"We want to sincerely thank Missie and the Best Western Starke Team for the kindness, understanding, and exceptional customer support you provided to our family during a very stressful situation. Our daughter experienced a medical emergency and had to go to the emergency room earlier that day. Because she was diagnosed with contagious conjunctivitis, she was unable to stay in the hotel room we had reserved for her. We truly appreciate the fact that the BW team took the time to understand our circumstances and cancelled the reservation for us. They did not have to do that, but you chose to help us—and that meant a great deal to our family. When someone is dealing with an unexpected medical situation involving their child, the last thing they need is to worry about additional complications or financial concerns. Your willingness to work with us provided one less thing for us to worry about at a difficult time. Your actions are a wonderful example of what genuine customer service looks like. It wasn’t simply about cancelling a reservation; it was about showing compassion and understanding when our family needed it. Please extend our sincere appreciation to everyone at the Best Western Starke who helped with our situation. We will remember your kindness and the way you treated our family."
Beautiful Home on Kingsley Lake with Private Dock, 4 Kayaks

"This is a great little getaway or long stay place to go! All the amenities you'll need are there to use. Don't let the first glance when driving up fool you, this lake house is practically brand new inside. Appliances, flooring, beds, pillows and blankets. It has enough towels for weeks, even though there is a washer and dryer on location. The deck and dock are like new and wonderful to sit out on or walk out to the end just to chill or fish. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The house has a boat ramp. The lake is low due to the dry weather in the area, but don't let that deter you from bringing your boat or jet skis. The owner has a great method and will use his lifted truck to hook up your trailer and put your boat in the water at check-in and come back around 9:30 on check-out to put the boat (or jet skis) back onto the trailer. Contact them first. I had a 23ft Key West Bay Reef. Walmart and Winn Dixie are 10 minutes away. Loved this place and plan to return if and when it's available."
