Just steps from beautiful Rush Lake and 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities, this immaculate lake home awaits to help make your best summer memories! One of the only rental homes just steps from the shoreline of Rush Lake (and not down a long stairway), this lake home offers unbelievable views morning and night from the large backyard deck. With three beautifully decorated bedrooms, large great room with adjoining dining room and kitchen, plus 3 bathrooms with oversized Jacuzzi tub in master suite, this home is the ideal vacation spot. Every room (except the bathrooms) includes a breathtaking view of the lake. Other amenities include front-load washer & dryer, bonfire pit, 2 kayaks, WiFi, hardwood floors throughout main level, side-by-side frig, dishwasher, microwave, and gas grill. Rush Lake and West Rush Lake (each approx. 1400 acres) are a playground for boats and jetskis in the summer. Catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Muskies, Northern Pike and Walleye. Two restaurants right on the lake - The Grumpy Minnow and Flickabirds - offer great dining, outdoor patios and live music in the summer. The Grumpy Minnow is within easy walking distance. This lake home is just 20 minutes to Pinewood Weddings & Events in Cambridge and 15 minutes to Creekside Farm Wedding & Events in Rush City.

This was an absolute perfect place for our family to use as our "wedding base camp". The location is beautiful, fall colors stunning, and the accommodations are just like home. The place was well-stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to make a meal for the family. I highly recommend this as a summer and/or fall getaway...especially if you are having a wedding at the nearby Barn wedding venue!

Cabin is a perfect fit for our family. Just an hour north of the Twin Cites. Love the large kitchen, but the best feature is the large deck which is shaded all day.

Stay was great! There was no tv/ internet connection as stated in amenities so we watched dvds - kitchen was great for cooking meals as we cooked a lot. Kayaking was awesome

Great time with our grands! We had excellent assistance from our host and enjoyed games, Old Maid, movies and terrific fishing! Everyone had a peaceful sleep at the end of each day.

The rental was clean and perfect for our group. Communication was easy and quick along with the check-in and check-out process. Only suggestion would be to have the lawn sprayed for mosquitoes as they were quite thick at night.

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the lakefront and house. There was plenty of space for 8 of us with two per bed and the pull-out sofa downstairs. Cute decor inside and wonderful sun/shade mix in the yard. The water was pretty pull of lilypads and growth so it wasn't condusive for swimming, but I was told it is a great fishing lake.

The large and well stocked kitchen, plus comfortable dining area was very accommodating for our group. The addition of the outdoor furniture and kayaks was perfect. A little tricky getting i n to the kayaks, but doable. Appreciate being able to get ahold of the host for questions and concerns. Thank you Suzy for being a part of making our family reunion possible and more wonderful memories.

We had a girls weekend at the cabin and it was perfect. The cabin, which is really a house, is very spacious and so cute. The lake was fun and the water was warm. The only issue we had, was that there is only one shower - which I didn't pay attention to when booking. With 5 girls it took some scheduling but it was not a big deal. Would definitely stay again!

We were a group of 6 ages 13-68. Everyone had a wonderful and relaxing time. We spent hours of each day on the large shaded deck overlooking the lake. We walked to the Grumpy Minnow for a meal and boated to Flickabird restaurant. The kitchen is huge with everything you’ll need. The laundry was a great plus. Love that the bedrooms are upstairs for those who want to turn in early and others who want to stay up late! We will definitely be back again!

We stayed here while we were at my nieces wedding in Braham. Beautiful cozy and clean home. As Suzy suggests, make sure to bring bug spray. My elderly parents stayed with us & have never heard/stayed at a VRBO. Both were extremely impressed with the property & said they would consider staying here again next summer. Because we were they for limited time, we didn't get the opportunity to use they kayaks or actually enjoy the lake. Suzy is very professional and easy to communicate

We booked the house for our son's wedding. Even though we arrived late on Friday night, spent most of the day on Saturday with the wedding and departed on Sunday, it was great to walk into a very well furnished house instead of a hotel room. The lake views are beautiful. We live on a lake so we really appreciate all that being in a lake home has to offer. We wish we could have had more time to enjoy the lake while visiting. Whenever we had a question prior to arrival, Suzy was quick to respond and very accommodating to anything we needed. If we stay in the area again, we would definitely try to book this house. It is truly a great value!
