"My wife and I have been driving around the UK for 2 weeks and found The Tickled Trout to be the best we’ve had. Spotless, The Bed was soo comfortable, Great shower, and the Roast in the restaurant was amazing. We were greeted at check in by Charlie and his female off sider, who both came out to the car park and helped with the baggage. We were taken to our room and shown about. "I had a great stay here at this 3 bedroom house, all 3 bedrooms are rented out, i was in a single room, which was perfectly clean, and adequate for my 3 night stay! Its a shared bathroom, and there is a downstairs toilet! I am a professional cleaner, so for me it could have been cleaner, but it was definately clean enough!!! I would stay again, in fact im hoping to rent all 3 rooms next year!!!"

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"It's a great retreat. The environment is quiet and chill,, rooms with good view on a grassland with cows & hares getting around. The only thing is the privacy,, since the glass of the window is not shaded and the people passed by could easily see through into your room when you are looking at the beautiful view."
