"We arrived at about 9pm and had a hard time finding the place to check in. There were only a few outside lights and no office marked. After wandering around in the dark for awhile, we spoke to a lady walking around the building who apparently worked there or owned it. She led us to an office +unmarked). At first, they could not find our reservation. Finally, they found it and we were led by the same lady to another building in the dark. No outside lights were turned on and there were many steps...

"What a fantastic place this is. It is the 3rd time we have been and will certainly be going back again. The family work so hard to give you the very best holiday and nothing is too much for them. "Location was perfect we had a room with big balcony in the front with direct view of the sea. Cleaning was perfunctory, just emptied toilet bins and wastepaper bin in room.did not sweep or mop the balcony for the whole time we were there which was 2 weeks. Mop must have been old as there were always long dark hairs left on toilet floor and shower tray and also In room. We are both white haired I might add. Towels were hard and ragged. Place needs updating"

"BEST HOTEL BREAKFAST EVER! We are frequent travelers so that we are fussy about breakfast options. AMAZING and TASTY! Offerings we would not even have imagined including homemade cookies, both sweet and savory dishes, including numerous Cretan specialties as well as every part of both an English and a German breakfast. AND the staff were ALL extremely friendly and helpful. The sea views overlooking the port from our room as well as the rooftop restaurant/bar are breathtaking. We have already recommended this hotel to various travelers we met along the way."
