Enjoy the incredible view in the most desired E building. Step off of your patio on to the beautiful white sand. You are just 20 steps away from the amazing blue ocean. E building is angled away from the main Sapphire Beach area, yet it is directly on the ocean. You will get spectacular sunrises over St.John in the morning, panoramic views all day long, as well as breath taking sunsets to the West at night. You can enjoy it all while sipping a "lime in de coconut" at your own private table on your patio.

Step down from the patio to your own private lawn chairs & sun yourself!!!

The full service Sapphire Marina is right next to our building. They offer deep sea fishing, diving & snorkeling, day excursions to other islands, & jet skis...as some of there services.

Our modern kitchen is fully equipped with white cabinets, a tiled countertop, 4 burner cook top, microwave, toaster oven, & new Maytag refrigerator. We try to include all of the small appliances for your vacation of a life time. Please enjoy our coffee maker, toaster, & most importantly our blender!!! We provide coffee filters, foil, paper towels, dish soap, & paper products, as well as a hair dryer. There is also a grocery store in Red Hook to get your provisions at.

During the day there are lots of things to do or you can just lay on the beach & do nothing! There is a 2 level pool overlooking Pretty Klip Point. If you would like more adventure, we do provide 2 sets of snorkel gear, beach towels, & a soft sided cooler so you can enjoy Sapphire's beach. Sapphire is a great place to snorkel around the reef. There is a full service Dive Shop in Red Hook.

There are 2 beach chairs on the deck & free beach chair rentals courtesy of the condo association. We also provide 2 beach chairs that you can carry with you to other places.

There is a beach bar & grill located at Sapphire Beach. There is also a restaurant up the hill on the other side of the marina in Sapphire Village, as well as an awesome food truck at the top of the hill where you drive in.

There is a brand new Queen size bed with new linens. There is a pull out couch in the front of the unit. You will find 2 TV's. for your enjoyment. Be sure to check out the local channel to catch up on current festivities. We do provide free WIFI in our room. We do have an air conditioner...but most of us enjoy the AC off with the patio door open & the breeze of the Caribbean carrying the sound of the ocean waves. Our bathroom has also been updated as well.

We provide a free mid-stay cleaning service for stays of 7 nights or more that includes; fresh sheets, fresh towels, clean beach towels, & a light spruce up of the room. There is also a safe provided for your personal belongings.
We have an ironing board & iron in the closet as well.

St Thomas is approximately 13 miles x 4 miles & is located East of Puerto Rico. Since the island of St Thomas & St John are owned by the US, you can use American money...so no exchange!!!! You don't need a passport to enter St Thomas...but we recommend that you get one....it will make traveling A LOT easier.

We recommend renting a car. There are so many places to see. We like renting from Amalie Car Rental because they give you your rental right at the airport, they always have new vehicles, they don't charge you for extra drivers, & you can take the vehicle on the ferry over to St John....which you really should do for a day!!!! There are taxis available if you choose, but they add up in a hurry. We can arrange for airport pick-ups, drop-offs, & provisioning of the unit. These options are NOT included in the rental price & need to be requested before you arrive.

There are so many places to go on St Thomas & so many things to do....
Golfing at Mahogany Run, ferry hopping to the different islands, drinking bushwackers at Magen's Bay with our favorite island bartender Kevin, shopping duty free in downtown Charlotte Amalie, Watching the sunset & ziplining on the mountain top, exploring coral world right down the road, eco tours, hiking....& so much more!!!!

Be sure to check the local paper for the cruise ship schedule. We recommend not going downtown or Magen's Bay when there are a lot of cruise ships in port. Those are good days for island hopping.

We had a wonderful time, the resort is top notch!!! Loved every bit of it, we did go in off season so lots of seaweed right outside our condo but a one minute walk around the corner and it was a piece of heaven!!! Clear water, great location, and the pool is perfection!!! We will definitely be going back asap!!!

Awesome Honeymoon

My wife and I booked this condo for our honeymoon. We could not have asked for a better location, we were close to Red Hook which made small grocery trips and restaurants a breeze. Condo was clean, and views were amazing. Loopy has everything we needed and then some. We can’t wait to come back to visit.

Loved this property

This condo was perfect for my husband, our 4 year old and myself. The location couldn't have been any more convenient with the pool and beach just a short walk from our room. We also had the best view of the fireworks on the 4th of July from St. John!

Would like to keep this place a secret

The ocean is so close you can hear waves while lying in bed. There is nothing quite like this place. A perfect retreat. It was nice to have onsite restaurants. Everything was super clean. Five stars.

Loopy’s Place is a little slice of heaven on earth!!

Loopy was so helpful have us great food and drink recommendations. He was always available for questions!! I mentioned to him that the beach chairs were a little rundown and he had two new chairs delivered the same day!! There is no generator but everything is so beautiful you really don’t even worry about that! I would gladly stay here again!!

Paradise on Sapphire Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. Unit was recently renovated and just steps down to the beach. We had gorgeous views of the sunrise in the morning and of St. John’s. The owner was very responsive to any question we had. The walk to the beach and pool was only a couple of minutes. The beach was very clean and we could snorkel to the left and right of the beach at the reefs to see fish. There is a taxi stand on property, which was convenient. we took cabs into red Hook, which was only six dollars per person each way. there were a couple options for lunch on Property the beach bar and a pizza place. The beach buzz had breakfast menu and mini Mart was on property as well for small toiletries, coffee and egg sandwiches. There is a high-end restaurant with amazing views on the beach.. we were next to the marina and was able to easily book a sailing trip with the Cosmos, captain by Rob and Deb. We had a fabulous time.. I would highly recommend this unit as I would stay here in the future myself

Stay at Loopy's Condo

This is our 3rd time to stay in Building E in a beach level condo, and our 2nd time to stay in Loopy's Condo. If we get to return again, it will definitely be our choice. Loopy was in close contact and very helpful and responsive to any questions. The condo is bright and cheery with a very "beachy" decor . . . with everything one might need/want is provided for ones stay. We had a very delightful week in this very quiet and relaxing area, next to Sapphire Beach Marina . . . close to the beautiful 2 pools and a short walk to beautiful Sapphire Beach swimming area with great snorkeling off the beach.

If you decided to spend your vacation in St. Thomas, look no further. This appartment is a part of the resort condos located right on the Sapphire Beach (cozy, secluded, clean, not busy, with crystal clear water, plenty of trees and flowers, 24/7 taxi service, and nice dining options). I stayed in other units of the same resort before. They were "okay" (weathered but livable). But Loopy's appartment is truly a paradise on Earth - impeccably clean, stylish, remodelled with TLC, comfortable, spacious, equipped with new appliances, has everything you can think of inlcuding beach chairs and paddleboards. Last but not least, you literally live by the sea that greets and meets you every time you step out of the appartment on a patio. The resort pool available to all residents is also just steps away. Unbeatable location, excellent quality unit, and very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommend!

Great stay

Great views of St John. It was a very quiet location. Short walk to the pool and places to eat. The only down side was the seaweed, so the clean up crew was out there every morning, so it was a little loud sitting on the patio each morning. But they really work hard to keep it cleaned up. But if the condo door is closed, you can't hear the noise. It's easy to catch a cab (although the pricing was never consistent). The condo was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed was even comfortable. Loopy left us a little house warming gift, it was really nice. It had everything we needed. Plus there was a midweek clean up. I would definitely stay again.

No hot water , only lukewarm with only the hot side on. the owner sent someone because it was replaced 3 weeks earlier, repair man couldn’t fix it.3 bath towels and not replaced until I called the owner and he had them sent. Hida bed broken, not useable, coffee pot broke beach float had mold on it. Power went out twice, not the owners fault. Bedding sub standard, sofa cushions caved in while you sat on them because sofa bed below was broken .toaster oven but no outlet to plug it into without having to move everything else on the counter, only one electrical outlet. Foam topper on the bed was too small didn’t fit the whole bed.Couldn’t work the safe in the closet. Sheets were quite worn and need replacing. The water view was great.

We just arrived home from our stay at Sapphire Beach Resort. Loopy and Lori were fantastic to rent from. They gave us a list of their favorite beaches and restaurants before we arrived. Their condo was clean, organized and equipped with snorkel gear, which was much appreciated. They genuinely cared, checking on us the day we arrived and later in the week. Plus, there was a welcome basket on the day of our arrival. How sweet! My husband's favorite part, the mattress! He is not a good sleeper, but slept through the night from the first night we arrived. He also spent time on the dock visiting with the charter boats and bought fresh fish in the evenings from them. Everyone was very friendly. If you are looking for a rental, I highly recommend renting this unit. You walk out the patio, literally 25 to the ocean with a spectacular view of St. John. It is located away from the beach so it has more privacy. There is always a breeze from the ocean and the unit stays cool and comfortable with the doors open. Enjoy!

Relaxing

Our stay was very relaxing & enjoyable. Beautiful views. Swimming pool was close to our unit, which was a plus as there is no restrooms at pool area. Coffee shop was convenient for breakfast sandwiches & pool bar was fun & had decent food also. Several good restaurants in Red Hook, which is a short taxi ride away. Taxies were readily available onsite also. Our major complaint was, there was not a welcome basket when we arrrived, which was mentioned in the listing. We arrived later in the evening and ended up having to go back out for food and beverages. The other thing was all the seaweed in front of our unit. Men were out there daily, all day long. Everyday. Piling it up and then putting it in a backhoe to remove. It was smelly & attracted lots of bugs. We realize this is not the resort or condo owners fault. Just unfortunate. The power sporadically went out also at times. Sometimes for several hours.

Island Paradise

We had a great time staying at Sapphire Beach Resort. This unit is superior to others in the complex, as buildings A-C are much busier, and D-E are much more secluded. The view of the ocean is unobstructed, as we say on the open deck each morning and had breakfast and coffee, listening to the waves 10 yards away. The unit was clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom (good size walk in shower, double sinks), and Kathleen (the housekeeper) is super friendly (even got us fresh beach towels when needed). The new owners of this unit went out of their way to make sure sure we were comfortable, and left us a welcome basket with island rum and snacks! There was scuba gear for two in the closet, so we didn't have to rent from the cabana on the beach. The cabana did have kayaks and paddle boards etc. to rent, which is a nice option to have. Basically, you could spend your entire week vacation on this beach, but it was also pretty easy to get to many other great locations on the island from here. The main part of the beach where one could swim was a 50yd walk from this unit, which mean we could go back to our unit easily to make sandwiches for lunch or grab cold beers from our fridge and also save money. There is a woman grilling food on the beach as well, like a concession stand at a local sports or community event - nothing fancy but nice option to have. The water on this beach is warm and classic crystal sky blue, just what you want in your Carribean island experience. PS, when looking at Sapphire Beach Resort website, you will see many other buildings that go up the hill, I would avoid these as the immediate surrounds are not landscaped/pretty. Stick to the beachfront units! I am giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because I think the grill (and bar!) options at this resort could have been better, and there are a number of buildings on the beachfront in repair. But everything else was awesome.

2nd time even better than the first

This was our 2nd visit to Sapphire Beach and staying at this listing. I thought the first time was great but 7 days on this trip was great. You begin to appreciate the little things that go into making a perfect vacation spot. This one has all of them. Beautiful location, great views, quiet evenings, well appointed accomodations, and excellent communications with the host. Our adult children came with us and stayed at different buidings and after visiting their places I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of this listing. Plenty of places to sit, kitchen supplies and layout are great and the view of St. John Island and persistent trade winds make staying here such a treat. My fear is others will read all of this and make it difficult to book in the future. Sapphire Beach is alway wonderful and the addition of food/activity options at the Beach Bar, Beach Buzz, Paradise Pizza, and Sea Salt just add to the convenience. Sudi's in Sapphire Village (a short walk past the marina) is a great alternative spot. Loopy is an outstanding host and is quick to answer any questions. I cannot think of staying at another location on this property. I hope we get back very soon and I know where I'll be booking.

Perfect beach location

We stayed here in April and couldn’t have been happier. Everything we expected and more. Perfect location right on the water. Short walk to the beach, pool, coffee shop and beach bar. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Very easy to communicate with owner as well 😊

Lovely vacation get-away!

This was the perfect place for my teenaged daughter and I to vacation while the boys were out sailing with the Scouts. This is located directly next to the marina where the Sea Base takes place. The location is walkable to the Red Hook Ferry, and also conveniently near a bus/safari bus stop. The property itself is quite lovely. Beautiful view right out the back. Everything was very clean. Kitchen area is beautiful and quite functional. Pool on the property is very nice, and the beach is a quick walk beyond the pool. Owner is very responsive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about both St. Thomas and St. John. Thanks Loopy! We had a fabulous time!
