We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse and would definitely go back again and recommend it to others. The room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The restaurant, bars and garden areas were all really nice too. The hotel staff were all very polite, attentive and helpful

Beautiful hotel. Facilities were great we loved the pool especially my 12year old boy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive fir food and drink hut the quality was there. Breakfast was unbelievably good. We would all definitely come back

The Hotel was simply amazing. This is a very genuine review. My friend and I stepped into the hotel and realised how lucky we were to find this place. Staff simply so helpful also the maintenance men who helped me when i needed help. Our room was so large and so well decorated. bathroom was also so big with a really nice big bath, with a really nice shower. Every where was so clean. Food was very good. the pool is heated and a nice size. i will give this hotel 100% for everything. Oh, also, so quiet at night and it was so easy to get sleep.

Rustic charm with luxury in abundance

From the moment we arrived we knew we’d chosen well. We received a very friendly welcome from the receptionist & were delighted to have been upgraded from a superior room to a suite. The room had a beautiful spacious bathroom with fluffy bath robes & organic toiletries. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with a rustic charm as the name ‘The Farmhouse’ would hint at but with luxurious touches. We also ate in the restaurant 3 evenings & had room service one evening too. The food was delicious & the service very attentive. Breakfast was excellent, lots of cooked options & very generous portion sizes. We couldn’t find fault with any element of our stay here. We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere small but with an element of luxury. We absolutely loved every minute.

We enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. Our dinner was lovely, and breakfast was nice too. We loved having slippers and bathrobes in the rooms and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The flowers around the property were lovely. The only criticism would be that a few of the staff, while very nice and well-intentioned, didn’t always explain the details and thus it led to some confusion. E.g. for breakfast, even though we were staying at the hotel, we were seated outside and given the menu for non-guests with prices listed, and it was only because I thought I read that breakfast was included, that we decided to ask, and then we were told there is a breakfast room inside. We had to ask about that, and even when we were in the breakfast room, it was not made clear if only the continental buffet was included or if it you could order a full breakfast off the menu. Other than a few little issues like that, the stay was very nice, and we would stay there again.

Fabulous stay at the Farmhouse

Great stay at the Farmhouse, what a beautiful place with fantastic staff. We arrived late as our flight was cancelled and the reception staff had tracked our progress, waiting for us to arrive. Lovely room, really well appointed with everything you could wish for to enhance our stay. Safe, fridge, well stocked mini bar, complimentary fruit and small decanter of port. Great bathroom with lovely toiletries and big powerful shower. Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch. Comfy bed and pillows, all areas exceptionally clean. The icing on the cake was an outdoor patio area with 2 sun loungers, 2 chairs and a table - brilliant! Amazing breakfast, great continental selection followed by a freshly cooked hot selection, I had something different every day and the quality was superb. The breakfast staff were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather and my grandson made the most of the outdoor pool. The outdoor area was great, loads of lovely comfy seating and loungers in a separate area for hotel guests. We had a meal outside on our last evening and again lovely tasty food and exceptional service. First class stay - can’t wait to return

Lovely area close to the airport & bus right by the gate to St Peter Port. If you want to explore the island a car is essential - can be a bit hair raising going along the narrow lanes & getting used to the lower speed limit.

Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff. Food was amazing. The little extra added touches made this very special like a decanter of port, the homemade shortbread butterfly biscuits in a cookie jar in our room and the chocolate butterflies on our pillows at night My only gripe would be the poor WiFi Overall a really great break and I’d highly recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel with character and great staff

Recently re-furbished and very clean. Staff were very friendly, courteous and professional at all times. Really lovely room and well equipped. Nice pool which sadly we didn't get to use on this occasion. Only slight grumble is that our room (9) was above the kitchen so the cooking smells wafted in so for that reason avoid this room plus the bathroom lights were on a motion sensor which was a bit unpredictable but overall this was a lovely hotel and we would definitely go back.

Loved this hotel, staff all very friendly and helpful. We did choose a suite which was very nice, worth paying extra for. The service in the restaurant in the evening was a bit slow on a couple of occasions but worth the wait as the food was excellent, breakfast in the morning was very good as well.
