"Staggering reservation times better in the restaurant might avoid long waits for food. In our case receiving our main course at 8.25 for a 7.00 booking. Staff did respond well when we raised the issue but it might be less of an issue if tables are booked out in a way that the kitchen can cope. We, for example, we’re not wedded to 7.00. All that said, the food is delicious."

There were numerous steps to access our room with no lift access (room 30, but the same number of steps for other rooms in this area of the hotel). There was a very large step down from the bedroom to the bathroom. We would be happy to return to The Duke of Normandie should we visit Guernsey again."
