We stayed at this property for four weeks and it was a wonderful experience. The host met us upon arrival and walked us through everything. She couldn’t have been friendlier or more easy to work with. And the location was absolutely perfect! Easy walking to shops, cafes, and restaurants. For us, this is THE place to stay in St. Remy.

This house is a delight and is only a few minutes walk from the supermarket and the centre of the town with its many restaurants. The owner made every effort to make sure that we could find our private parking space, which was also an added benefit in this busy town. The description of the house sells itself short, It has two well equipped shower rooms, ensuite, one to each bedroom with an additional downstairs toilet.Rather more than we were expecting! We very much welcomed the advice from the owner on restaurant choice, which was very helpful The air-conditioning was a godsend during the heatwave! We had a great holiday in this house, and would happily return

. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The cottage is full of authentic Provençal charm, with beautiful stone walls, exposed wooden beams, and the kind of warmth and character that makes you feel you've truly arrived in Provence. It's cozy, thoughtfully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, making it easy to explore the town, markets, cafés, and restaurants.Genevieve was an exceptional host. She was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. She quickly resolved a small issue we encountered and made us feel genuinely cared for. Her restaurant recommendations were fantastic, and we enjoyed every one of them.We completely fell in love with Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, and staying in this charming cottage made the experience even more special. It felt like the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring the region. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to return next year—and we'll definitely be staying longer. We can't recommend Genevieve and her beautiful cottage highly enough

Genevieve was welcoming and her communications were prompt and helpful. We used the outdoor space throughout our stay. Having en suite bathrooms for two adult couples worked great. The location was perfect - easy walk to the many cafes, restaurants, and shops of the village. Highly recommend trying to be there on Wednesday for the market - one of the best in Provence.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mas d’Oscar for three weeks in May 2026. The cottage is an attached, two-story townhome in a small, quiet enclave of four that is set back from the street with private parking. It’s located within easy walking distance of both central Saint Remy and several key attractions (tourist office, ancient Glanum and the hospital/museum where van Gogh stayed). The home itself is very comfortable and modern. We were there during a heat wave, so having A/C (splits in the living room and the bedrooms) was a godsend. The living room is large with two low sofas that were excellent for lounging or napping in the heat of the day. The kitchen is also large and well-equipped with modern appliances and the adjacent toilet/laundry room has both a washer and a (rare, for Europe) separate dryer. The roomy bedrooms and modern bathrooms (walk-in shower only) are upstairs, but the steps are wide and solid. The high ceilings and thick walls kept the room cool enough that we only needed the A/C when sleeping.Genevieve is a delightful and responsive host. We had a question about the outdoor gas grill (I wasn’t certain how to judge whether the propane tank was turned on) and she and her husband quickly came over. We would happily return.

Great place for a base in Provence

This place has everything we were looking for. This place is relaxing, has parking, in town, and was central enough so that the other towns of interest were within reach. Huge plus was that the restaurants we tried were quality.
