Lovely little cottage within easy walking distance to the main village. The cottage was very well equipped, it had everything we needed to cook meals and all the equipment was good quality, clean and working. It was a very large unit and very comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. The large courtyard in front of the cottage was the perfect place to chill out after a busy day and a peaceful place to eat breakfast and dinner. A well stocked U Tile supermarket was an easy 5 min walk away & next door to the supermarket was a fabulous gourmet deli with ready made meals. There are also loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. Our only negatives were that the car park and driveway that was only suitable for a very small car - this was not described in the add. We hired a small car and chose this place because of the car park yet we were unable to use the car park due to the very narrow entrance and tiny car park. There is a public car park only 7 min walk away, over a gravel path which was a bit of a hassle to pull the suitcases. Not the end of the world but a bit of a pain. Our 2nd negative was that the shower head was broken and not able to be used - we needed to hold it to use it. Hopefully this will be fixed for the next guests. Also, just be aware that Julie the host, does not speak a word of English, so have your google translate at the ready for check in if you are not French.
