"The resort is clearly old (60+ years), but the rooms are recently renovated (and were quite nice). Very mature and beautiful landscaping pervades the property. You don't see plumaria that large anymore! The staff is very friendly and helpful. When problems were raised to the staff (leaking water line at ice machine, broken sprinkler line, malfunctioning plate reader at garage entry, etc.) they were quick to address the problems. The lobby activity concierge is friendly and helpful (but the premium added to typical event rates is extreme). Very convenient location to catch a catamaran for snorkeling or a dinner cruise. Overall, we had a pleasant stay (but will seek a more modern venue on our next trip to Maui)."
