Welcome to our newly renovated beachy 1 Bedroom (King), 1 bath bungalow in Historic Kenwood. Easy walk, bike, or short drive to St Pete restaurants, bars, breweries, antique shops, museums, live entertainment and much more. Grand Central District is just a 5 min walk, Edge District is 1 mile, Downtown is 2 miles, and St Pete beach is 15 minutes away. Patio table seating for 4, hammock, outdoor shower, grill, and fenced yard.
The space
The space was designed to feel light, bright, and airy while including lots of colorful artwork reflecting beautiful Florida. The apartment is equipped with a full kitchen including, gas range, microwave, oversized deep sink, toaster, K-cup coffee maker and coffee pods, pots, pans, basic cooking tools, salt, pepper, evoo, cling wrap, foil, baggies, paper products and cleaning supplies. Beach towels, sunblock, small cooler, icepack, and beach chairs are supplied so you'll be ready to hit the beach as soon as you get here.
The bedroom has a very comfortable new mattress with soft 100% cotton linens, fluffy pillows, warm comforters, and blackout shades for the most restful sleep. The bedroom has a KING bed, the closet has plenty of hangers, remote controlled ceiling fan, and blackout shades. Living room has a smart TV and remote controlled ceiling fan. The sofa in the living room opens up to sleep an additional person but does not have a pullout mattress. It is more futon style and simply folds flat. It is technically a bed, but of course, the King mattress is far more comfortable for an adult to sleep in.
The living room also has a desk and rolling chair to be used as a dedicated workspace.
We've got you covered with all those little extras you may have forgotten at home including: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, qtips, cotton balls and wipes, blow dryer, first aid supplies, bug repellent, etc.
You can park 1 car in the dedicated driveway. There is also additional free street parking right in front. The house has a few steps to get inside and then everything is on 1 level.
Cleanliness is a priority for me, so the apartment is professionally cleaned and you will see many of the guests mention how clean the place is in their reviews.
We are dog lovers and welcome well-behaved dogs under 60 lbs. 1 dog maximum per visit. If you don't 100% trust your dog in this newly renovated space, please bring along a crate or do not leave the dog unattended in the guesthouse. Please keep dogs off linens and the furniture.
Guest access
The bungalow has an attached unit (like a front and back duplex) each with completely separate and private entrances and parking. There is a fenced-in backyard that contains the shared outdoor shower, shared hammock, 3 separate shared patio areas each with seating and a shared propane BBQ grill and shared laundry room. These shared spaces are for use during 9 AM-9 PM. You may encounter another guest's friendly dog in these shared areas. Please always keep gates closed.
Other things to note
For those with severe fragrance allergies, I want to disclose that there is a plug-in air freshener in the apartment. You are welcome to unplug this while you are staying in the unit. We also use standard cleaning products which contain fragrance. And the linens are washed with standard laundry detergent and dryer sheets which also have fragrance.
