Bruce was informative and responsive pre trip with any questions we had and Lorraine the property manager was brilliant once we were there. You’ll need to hire a car while you are here to get about the island but there are also local buses aplenty up and down the coastal road. "

"Amazing spacious property one block from the beach and ocean.Located in a quiet neighborhood with close access to public transportation to all costal sites and restaurants. The upper deck provides a view of the ocean and is great for sun and socializing. The property manager is very helpful and responds immediately. We will definitely be staying here again. "

"But no stranger to this area. Although the decor is a bit tired, the bedrooms had fans (which is a big plus) and everything you need for a self catering accommodation. The property manager Gabriel is such a lovely and helpful person. He manages another apartment that we have stayed in 4 times. It was a public holiday on the day we arrived and I asked Gabriel if he would be so kind to get some shopping in for us and he did, so after being up for over 24 hours, at least we could make a cup of tea and have some sandwiches. Heywoods estate is my favourite place to stay in Barbados. Just 10 minute walk from one of the best beaches and the lovely historical Speightstown. "

"We had a fabulous time here- the location of the home was wonderful. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants and a local convenience store. What we really enjoyed the most was having the pool/ hot tub/patio and outdoor grilling and eating to start and end each day with. The rooster found his perch in the tree, announcing his arrival at 6pm every evening and the monkeys played tag on the roof a couple of mornings. Charles and Eunice were so helpful and welcoming! We had an amazing time!"
