"Beautiful hotel. Some rooms need renovating but the renovated ones are very nice. Hotel grounds and pool are gorgeous. Perfect location and beach access."

"We spent a lovely week at The Golden Sands. The location is fantastic with beautiful views over the beach and the bay. St Brelade is quite quiet but there are still a good few restaurants on the front that you can choose from but the La Brise restaurant in the hotel serves lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners. If you want more eating choices, St Aubin's is only 15mins away on the bus and St Helier 30mins away. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel and it's only £2.75 per journey wherever you're going. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff, from the reception team to the waiting staff and maintenance/cleaning staff were all exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. We've always stayed in St Helier when we visit Jersey but from now on we'll be staying at this lovely hotel whenever we visit again."

"Our room was spacious, simply equipped, and clean. Bed could use a better mattress, and the low water pressure made the shower barely adequate. Staff was very helpful—very considerate to two senior citizens. A communal refrigerator in the lounge was helpful. The guesthouse shows its age, but is still nice. Location was superb, and nearby is a fabulous beachfront restaurant, Mark Jordan’s Restaurant. The price is good compared to alternatives."

"Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly, delicious breakfast and a good choice of evening meals. Lovely gardens, with a brilliant swimming pool and hot tub. Films and entertainment in the evenings. Although out of town, the courtesy bus and public buses were close and frequent. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel."
