"If you make sure to get a newly renovated room, all is good. If you don’t, it’s a completely different stay. The rooms that are not renovated are dingy older and need a deep cleaning. Shower is small, etc. If you get a newly renovated room it’s completely opposite. Air-conditioning is fabulous. Beds are comfortable pillows are wonderful, etc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the pool and pool chairs were fabulous. The concierge staff need to get a little more training. They were unable to really answer questions about the area, the restaurants things to do, etc. They were young locals who really didn’t seem very trained. For example, when I asked if they could make a reservation for dinner the concierge said “you want ME to call?“ That was a little surprising. She was very sweet, but they need training on what a concierge’s role is in a nice hotel."

"Breakfast starts at 8:30, and unfortunately there is nothing available for guests leaving earlier. You can’t even get a coffee before 8:30 in the hotel. The lady at reception informed me that the bars outside hotel was open, but it was closed as well. For guests with departures before 10:00 AM, this is really not practical. The night receptionist was very kind and prepared a lunch package for me since I had already paid for breakfast, which I really appreciated. However, getting even a simple coffee before leaving was impossible."

"Everything about this place is amazing! The huge room with beautiful views over the lake, the spotless bathroom with luxurious toiletries and plenty of towels and the wonderfully comfortable bed. Also, your breakfast was served every morning on your terrace which was the best way to start the day. Add to that the staff were all so polite but also kind, friendly and welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for you. We also used the private spa which was a treat and so relaxing. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, we loved it!!😃"

"Stunning location & comfortable rooms. Tip: it is better if you have your own car but there is a bus stop just outside the door. Friendly staff but disappointing there was no water or tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Also our air conditioner wasn’t working for the first 48 hours which, during a hot spell, made one room uncomfortable."
