"The room was very clean, but we were told that the cleaning staff does not clean every day. We had to specifically ask for our room to be cleaned. The front desk was not always available. On the day that we were checking out, we wanted to leave our bags in the luggage room, but no one was at the front desk for a good 10 minutes. On the second day of our stay, we asked for bottled water for our room because we received 2 bottles in our room when we checked in, but we were told that we were not part of the Hyatt Loyalty program or something so we'd have to buy additional water. The location was great. It was very close to the shuttle stop that goes to Tropicana Field. There is a crazy bar scene near the hotel, which for some people may not be so appealing at night."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s so cute and cozy inside. I love their coffee bar. Perfect for a morning coffee and a nighttime espresso martini. The room was clean and very nice."

"Upon checking in, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The car needed to be valeted, so the front desk person followed me to my car with the bell cart, unloaded it and brought it up to our room. We asked for addtional pillows and they were brought up within moments. We were tired from our trip, so we unpacked and relaxed some before going down to the restaurant for dinner. The Birch and Ivy staff was also very friendly and the food was delicious. One of the first things our server did was explain that ther was a 20% service fee automatically added to the bill the is split amongst the staff. We appreciated them being upfront, as many restaurants do not reveal this information. We took desert and our drinks back to our room. Also received a 20% discount for being a hotel guest. The following day, my wife enjoyed a nice bath in the huge tub. The shower area was large as well with a nice rain showerhead. When I called for the car and it was there when asked. We went on our way to do some shopping and attend the Rays/Red Sox game and back at the hotel by 8:30. We parked the car in the valet area, gave the key to the front desk. The staff all seemed to know what room we were in and always asked if there was anything they could do for us. We only wish that the rooms had brighter lighting as we had to keep the shades closed on the windows due to the outside walkway."
