Sarlat is a perfect central location for day trips to nearby Dordogne villages and many prehistoric sites. The local contact was most helpful with check in and other information. Other places hold back on the quality of the furniture, giving hard sofas and soft beds… but we had a soft sofa and a firmer bed… so comfortable.
