"It’s a well maintained property with great rooms, great service and a friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast and high tea were absolute delight. They served authentic Udupi cuisine which is delightful yet different from daily cuisine. Property is in heart of city with all essentials available nearby. It is family friendly with ample covered parking space. It’s a definite recommendation to anyone visiting Udupi."

"The room was comfy and luxurious . They had simple but delicious foods. However, as this is near a fisherman area there will be some unrest with the smell, take this hotel if you don't mind this inconvenience "

"The coastal Palace is a family run hotel newly built spotless A.C rooms two on site restaurant’s non veg and pure veg the vegetarian food is excellent and well priced all the staff are friendly and helpful good value "

"Charges are too high but no proper service. We were not able to close bathroom door it was broken. No remote for AC. Room was not cleaned. No dental kit even after paying so much amount. By the way, Food was good."

"We had booked 2 rooms for 5days and paid the entire amount during check in. During night one, my dad acquired severe dust allergy and ended up coughing and lung congestion. We informed the owner that we will be checking out on emergency basis as my father is sick. Since we had booked through hotels.com the owner promised to connect with them and provide us with our refund since it is an emergency. We had paid 26460, they withheld 10000 as commision to hotels.com and charged 2 days room rent and returned 5800 after a lot of negotiation. They asked us to connect with hotels.com for refund and hotels.com was pushing us back to the owner since we had paid them at the property. When conencted with the owner again he mentioned he had paid the whole commission hence cannot refund anything. We had a horrible experience, the place is not suitable to families. On the website it was mentioned delux room with 2 double beds suitable for 3 pax per room but we were given a room with a 1 double bed which could not accomoate 3ppl and were asked to get an extra bed for extra charge. They geyser was not working in one of the rooms. They were suppotive and understanding while we were at the property but once we left they decided not to refund our amount. Since it was peak season they did have a lot of booking and also extension requests. One of the worst experiences, ruined our stay and vaccation. I regret choosing this place and wouldn't recommend families to stay here. "
