"A very comfortable stay and would recommend The Darling. Nice friendly staff, very well appointed room that was quiet and relaxing, good bathroom and water pressure, and overall a well maintained and newer hotel. Easy access to the ferry for quick trip to Circular Quay, and easy walking to the Fish Markets and across to the cbd via the bridge. I'd recommend is to avoid the eateries in The Star as overpriced, just walk up the road to Harris St (The Gallon was very nice). A very nice stay. Downside was that the internet is not a secured network for the hotel, but instead you use the general The Start network that anyone in both hotels, the casino, theatres, and general public areas use. Not what I would expect for a hotel of this calibre and price-point, and was surprised to discover this."

"Our fave hotel so far at Circular quay. We got a room upgrade, bottle of wine and kids got goodie bags on our arrival. The rooms were nice, room service was always a quick response and brought what we needed fast. Elevators were quick, (which is annoying when they are not, so i mention it). Great location for walking in any direction around Sydney harbour and the CBD. I'd stay there again for sure. Lovely hotel. I think the only complaint was the pillows kinda sucked. Either too thin and you had to fold it in three for it to be any use, or too firm. They were also too big for the width of the bed for two people, which meant you fought all night to move you pillow over lol"
